  1. 1Response rate calculated from number of questionnaires in dataset (after cleaning) as percentage of women workers in sample. 2Response rate calculated from number of questionnaires in dataset (after cleaning) as percentage of estimated number of women workers in the population from which the volunteers were drawn, i.e. the catchment population. For Factory C, D, E, F and J, the catchment population is the estimated number of women workers in the factory, while for Factory G, H and I, it is the estimated number of women workers in the hostels. 3These factories only allowed data collection at their hostels, not on factory premises. Estimated number of occupants in their hostels are given in brackets. 4Although the total estimated number of women workers in all the factories is 11,200, however, if we consider the catchment population only, that is, for those factories that only allowed for data collection in hostels we only take into consideration the number of women workers in the hostels, then the total is 3,930 for UPM Centre, and 9,430 for all research centres. The overall response rate is therefore 1,720 from 9,430, which is 18.2%.
