Familiarity with urinary tract infection in children, high prevalence of urinary tract infection, risk factors, the possibility of recurrence of the disease, predisposing factors for recurrent urinary tract infection, variety of clinical manifestations at different ages (in order to increase the structure of knowledge and perceived sensitivity)

The training program was conducted by a Ph.D. of health education and health promotion and a medical student in collaboration with a nephrologist. Many different topics were discussed during the sessions, including subsequent difficulty of clinical diagnosis, resistance of the causative agent to antibiotics, long-term serious complications in children, proper identification, treatment methods, the most important preventive measures, the benefits and barriers to preventive behaviors, and role of mothers.
