Modified PRISMA Flow Diagram of the literature search strategy used. Following database searching, a total of 1066 records were identified. Abstracts and full texts were screened, and a total of 34 articles were selected and included in this review. Inclusion criteria was any original research paper on humans published between 1 January 2010 to 6 January 2022 that was relevant to the research question. Any papers that met the following exclusion criteria were removed: not available in English (n = 5), no access to full-text version (n = 2), incomplete reporting of pregnancy outcomes (n = 8), included patients with identifiable causes of infertility (n = 15)
